Remote Accountant

Job Summary

Performing a variety of routine and non-routine accounting functions, the remote Accountant will manage accounts receivable tasks, including adjustments, variance analysis, and journal entries, while ensuring compliance with GAAP and meeting financial reporting deadlines.

Key responsibilities

• Perform accounts receivable accounting tasks, including adjustments and month-end journal entries
• Complete accounting and reporting activities in accordance with GAAP and organizational policies
• Act as a liaison with general ledger and corporate accounting teams to ensure timely and accurate financial closes

Required qualifications

• 3-5+ years of finance or accounting experience preferred
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred
• General accounts receivable experience
• Strong technical and analytical accounting skills
