Remote Accountant

Job Summary

Working remotely as a full-time Accountant, the successful candidate will partner with the Controller to manage month-end close processes, ensure the integrity of the general ledger, and support compliance tasks while handling vendor interactions and financial reporting.

Key responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Controller to enhance month-end processes and prepare necessary journal entries and adjustments
• Reconcile general ledger accounts, identify discrepancies, and maintain accurate financial reporting
• Process vendor invoices and employee reimbursements while ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards

Required qualifications:

• 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a high-growth or startup environment
• Solid understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles
• Experience with payroll processing and accounts payable workflows
• Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks or NetSuite
• CPA candidate or bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred
