Job Summary

An information technology company offering application security is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Accountant.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Oversee financial reporting, monitor revenue and optimize our financial processes, reporting to our Senior Controller
• Ensure an accurate and timely month end close by preparing journal entries and account reconciliations for cash, deferred revenue, accruals, inter-company, and all other balance sheet accounts
• Set controls to ensure data accuracy and invoice all revenue followed by proper accounting treatment AR and AP

Required Skills:

• Bachelors degree in business / finance / accounting
• 2+ years working with accounting, controlling and/or finance operations
• Experience working with external advisors (accounting and tax firms) to ensure compliance reporting
• Demonstrated bias for action
• A proven mind for business value and connecting pieces to broader strategic context
• Ability to design and implement operating procedures, policies, internal controls, and workflows to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of organization
