A specialty insurance and reinsurance company has an open position for a Remote Accountant.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Ensuring accurate and timely compilation of accounting information
- Supporting month-end, quarter-end and year-end accounting close
- Supporting monthly cash management processes
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from a four-year college or university
- 2-4 years of Accounting Experience (public company preferred)
- Proficient in MS Excel, Outlook, and Word. Must be comfortable using MS Access
- Strong knowledge of accounting, auditing and budgeting principles
- Ability to quickly evaluate the accuracy of data and information
- Excellent PC skills to input and manipulate data
