Remote Accountant I

Job Summary

A privately-held energy company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Accountant I.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Provide support and oversight of our external 1st party collections company
• Process and post day to day financial transactions
• Verify and investigate discrepancies

Qualifications Include:

• 5-7 years of experience in bookkeeping and/or accounting
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
• Advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUP, pivot tables and macros
• In-depth understanding of accounting cycle, month-end close process and flow of financial information
• Strong investigative and analytic skills with the ability to reconcile accounts
