Job Summary
A financial technology company has an open position for a Remote Accounting and Financial Reporting Director.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Monitoring and providing interpretation of new GAAP and SEC rules and regulations
- Being responsible for all aspects of technical accounting
- Creating and managing documentation of processes and policies across financial and operating cycles
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- CPA certification
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Accounting
- 7+ years of relevant experience
- Strong technical accounting background and understanding of US GAAP
- Public accounting background with experience at Big 4 or national accounting firm
- Financial statement preparation and management reporting experience
