Remote Accounting and SOX Manager

Job Summary

A software technology company is filling a position for a Remote Accounting and SOX Manager.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Following up with the SOX Control owners to ensure execution and proper deliverable timelines
• Driving the month close task list, ensuring the team executes on all closing tasks
• Executing on implementation and process improvement projects with the Controller

Qualifications Include:

• Minimum 5 years of public accounting experience and/or private company experience
• Bachelor's degree in accounting
• General understanding of GAAP
• Able to demonstrate strong critical think in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
• Excellent Microsoft Excel skills
• Able to independently analyze financial records and be a clear communicator to the team
