Job Summary
A staffing firm has an open position for a Remote Accounting Controller in Arlington.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Owning the accounting function from top to bottom
- Managing the company’s auditors and tax advisors
- Ensuring compliance with 606 revenue recognition
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- 10+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Experience with QuickBooks
- Ability to assist with financial modeling
- Ability to perform the monthly, quarterly, and year-end closes
- Ability to design processes and policies as well as select and implement systems
- Experience leading an accounting function at a PE/VC-backed fast-growth start-up
