Job Summary
A healthcare company has a current position open for a Remote Accounting Director.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Developing and leading the accounting function
- Defining and managing financial controls
- Leading the company through its first financial audit
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting, and a CPA
- Previous experience managing part or all of the accounting function
- Fluent with US GAAP and the ability to prepare accounting memos
- Understanding of tax regulations and compliance, and the ability to pull in additional technical expertise
- Proven experience leading the monthly close process, and exposure to accounting systems
- Detail oriented with high degree of accuracy
