Job Summary
An education company has an open position for a Remote Accounting Director.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Overseeing the daily operations and activities of the corporate accounting department
- Maintaining a documented system of accounting policies and procedures
- Consistently analyzing financial data and presenting financial reports
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Bachelor’s or related degree in Accounting or with an emphasis in Accounting
- 6 years of progressively responsible experience as an Accountant
- 2 years in a managerial role such as Assistant Controller
- Proficient in the use of Accounting software; high proficiency in PC applications
- A thorough understanding of multi-state payroll
