Job Summary
Major Duties & Responsibilities:
Collaborate with eXp World Holdings corporate accounting function to deliver accounting services to Virbela business including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, revenue, and accounting customer service
Partner with Virbela business team to support explosive growth of business (contract review, new process and systems implementation.
Work with eXp World Holding SEC reporting department to ensure Virbela financial report and accounting is in compliance with GAAP and SEC reporting requirements
Build, mentor, train rapidly growing team in a remote environment
Ensure smooth and expeditious month end, quarter end, and year end financial closings
Collaborate with multiple departments in order to produce various internal and external financial reporting requirements
Prepare and maintain, using narratives and flowcharts, documentation of accounting processes and procedures
Assist with budgeting and forecasting
Assist business and occupational filings, operational taxes, sales and use taxes timely
Assist various assigned Virbela accounting and financial system projects
Requirements
Education:
BA/BS in accounting and/or finance. Masters degree strongly preferred.
Active CPA License required
Knowledge and Skills Requirements:
8+ years of relevant working experience
Results driven, process and system oriented.
Able to achieve results through leadership and collaboration with business and corporate accounting functions
Strong accounting and process improvement skills
Fast pace and able to be multi-tasking and meet tight deadlines
Experienced in financial system implementation and project management
Ability of leading and supervising employees
High level of integrity
SaaS Industry experience preferred
Advanced Microsoft Excel experience
