Remote Accounting Manager

Job Summary

Managing key accounting functions, the full-time Remote Accounting Manager will oversee general ledger activities, month-end and year-end close processes, and financial reporting while leading a team and ensuring compliance with internal controls.

Key responsibilities:

• Oversee assigned accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities, ensuring accuracy in financial statements and analyses
• Manage team workflow, providing coaching and support for the performance and development of accounting team members

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related field
• CPA or CMA certification preferred
• Minimum of four years of progressive accounting experience, including general ledger and financial reporting
• At least two years of experience in a leadership role with accountability for team performance
• Thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
