Remote Accounting Manager
Job Summary
Leading day-to-day accounting operations, the full-time Remote Accounting Manager will oversee financial reporting, manage month-end close processes, and supervise an Accounting Coordinator while ensuring compliance and optimizing workflows in a multi-state mental health practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage cash flow, banking activity, and month-end close processes in accordance with US GAAP
- Oversee accounts payable, payroll, and provider compensation while ensuring accurate financial reporting
- Partner with executive leadership for departmental budgeting and variance analysis, developing financial reporting dashboards
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 5+ years of accounting experience with a focus on operational accounting and financial stewardship
- Experience in healthcare or multi-site clinical operations preferred
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Google Sheets/Excel
- CPA, CMA, or active pursuit of certification is preferred
