Job Summary

A developer of workforce and payroll management software is seeking a Remote Accounting Manager.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Managing the preparation and review of month-end journal entries and account reconciliations
• Preparing monthly financials and management reporting packages
• Owning implementing and maintaining portions of the upstream data systems that impact accuracy of financials

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

• 5+ years of professional accounting experience. CPA required. Big Four experience preferred. Private accounting experience at a high-growth company is a plus
• Excellent communication, both written and verbal
• Driven to learn fast, be creative, and win as a team
• Desire to work in a fast growing, sometimes unstructured environment where you can add a lot not only to your functional role but to all those around you.
• Self-starter with ability to work independently, but unafraid to ask questions
