Job Summary
An information technology and services company is seeking a Remote Accounting Specialist.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Processing semi-monthly payroll and all manual payroll requests/adjustments
- Preparing all necessary payroll entries for posting to the general ledger
- Preparing monthly reconciliations for all payroll and benefits-related general ledger accounts
Qualifications for this position include:
- 3+ years progressively responsible accounting/finance experience
- Bachelor's from four-year college/university; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Proficiency with payroll and commissions software and multi-state payroll tax management
- Demonstrated success working in a fast-paced, frequently changing environment
