Remote Accounting Specialist

Job Summary

A management consulting firm is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Accounting Specialist.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Managing and overseeing the Accounts Payable (AP) full cycle process
• Recording payroll into accounting software
• Participating in month-end & year-end close out tasks, and report preparation

Required Skills:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance
• At least one to three years of related work experience is required
• Intermediate level (or higher) of QuickBooks and Excel
• Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
• Detail oriented with planning and problem-solving skills
• Solid understanding of US GAAP & working knowledge of accrual accounting
