Job Summary
A technology company is in need of a Remote Accounts Payable Specialist.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Manage the accounts payable cycle from invoice entry to payment
- Ensure proper coding of invoices prior to entry into the accounting system
- Review invoices for appropriate documentation and resolve any invoice / purchase order discrepancies prior to payment
Position Requirements Include:
- Have a BA/BS or equivalent in accounting or related field
- Have 2-3 years of accounts payable or other relevant accounting experience
- Have a basic understanding of GAAP
- Be organized, detail-oriented and deadline-driven
- Have strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Have intermediate MS Excel skills
