Job Summary
A software company is in need of a Remote Accounts Receivable Specialist II.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Updating patient demographics and/or insurance information in appropriate systems.
- Monitoring claims for missing information, authorization and control numbers (ICN//DCN)
- Securing medical documentation as required or requested by third party insurance carriers.
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- High school diploma or GED
- At least two years of experience in healthcare insurance accounts receivable follow up
- At least two years of experience with accounts receivable software
- Experience identifying billing errors and resubmitting claims
- Knowledge of accounts receivable practices, medical business office procedures, and coordination of benefit rules
