Job Summary
A non-profit health insurance company has a current position open for a Remote Actuarial Analyst I.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Ensuring financial integrity of lag cell data via reconciliation procedures
- Completing Incurred But Not Reported (IBNR) reserve estimates
- Supporting projects that help to determine key assumptions that are included in our rate development practices
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, economics or a related field is required
- Advanced proficiency level with Microsoft Excel
- Familiar with a variety of analysis concepts, practice and procedures
- Basic knowledge of SQL, SAS, R, or other data manipulation software
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Suite to include, Word, Power Point and Outlook
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
