Job Summary
A non-profit health insurance company is filling a position for a Remote Actuarial Analyst I.
Must be able to:
- Calculate profitability reports on appropriate business segments
- Develop actionable recommendations to management relative to all analysis
- Perform regular and ad-hoc analysis to identify opportunities to improve efficiency and affordability
Qualifications for this position include:
- Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, economics or a related field is required
- Intermediate interpersonal/verbal communication skills and a high level of professionalism
- Intermediate written communication skills
- Intermediate ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Intermediate proficiency level with Microsoft Excel
- Basic knowledge of SQL, SAS, R, or other data manipulation software
