Job Summary
A financial service company is seeking a Remote Actuarial and Product Sales Data Scientist.
Must be able to:
- Develop assets to support our claims optimization using Python and SQ
- Own the full lifecycle of models built for claims organization (workers comp and group benefits).
- Write modular Python code to ease the hand off to Data Engineers for deployment
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Master’s in Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Quantitative Economics, Actuarial Science, or similar analytical field
- OR progress towards or attainment of a relevant professional designation (i.e. ACAS/FCAS, ASA/FSA, CFA, CSPA, etc.)
- 3+ years of relevant experience in Research Function in Insurance or Financial Services or related field
- Experience with database RDBMS technologies (i.e. Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata, etc.)
