Job Summary
An insurance company is in need of a Remote Actuarial Department Senior Applications Developer.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Preparing data and templates for quarterly loss and LAE reserve analyses
- Ensuring balancing of data to source system and reconcile to financials
- Implementing agreed upon changes to templates with guidance from supervisor or responsible actuary
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- To maintain effectiveness by improving skills and acquiring new skills over time
- To anticipate and respond to customer expectations and needs
- 2-5+ years of property/casualty insurance experience
- 2-4+ years experience working extensively in Informatica Powercenter
- 2-4+ years in writing complex queries against SqlServer 2012/2014 and Netezza
- Strong analytic and problem solving abilities
