Remote Acute Care Psychiatrist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Daytime Remote Acute Care Psychiatrist to provide virtual psychiatric care to patients in crisis.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients in crisis across multiple emergency rooms and psychiatric programs
• Receive support from a 24/7 access center for case triage and patient treatment
• Direct and implement psychotherapeutic treatments and prescribe medication for mental health disorders

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Board-certified or board-eligible Psychiatrist with unrestricted, independent licensure
• Experience providing psychiatric care to all age groups, particularly in acute crisis settings
• Established and updated CAQH and FCVS profiles
• Proficiency in using multiple EMRs and advanced technical tools in telehealth
• Passion for transforming access to quality behavioral care through innovative technology
