Job Summary
A healthcare company has a current position open for a Remote Acute Infusion Patient Clearance Specialist.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Performing benefit verification of all patient insurance plans
- Calculating estimated patient financial responsibility
- Reviewing and obtaining clinical documents
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Acute Infusion experience
- Working knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and managed care reimbursement guidelines
- Ability to interpret payor contract fee schedules based on NDC and HCPCS units
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations
- Basic level skill in Microsoft Excel & Word
