Remote Adjunct Faculty - Business Studies

Job Summary

A private nonprofit affiliate of the University of Massachusetts is seeking an Adjunct Faculty-Remote for their School of Business and Professional Studies.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach adult learners online through the institution's learning management system, primarily using Blackboard
• Engage in synchronous lectures via Zoom as required, scheduled Monday-Thursday between 3-7pm PST
• Maintain an environment that emphasizes learning, encourages free discussion of ideas, and promotes critical thinking

Required Qualifications and Education

• Graduate degree in the discipline related to the School of Business & Professional Studies
• Minimum of 2 years' experience teaching adult learners online and in higher education
• Ability to create and maintain an educational environment that emphasizes learning and encourages free discussion and critical thinking
• Preference for candidates with prior online teaching experience and experience teaching adult learners
• Applicants must be based in specific states, including but not limited to California, Texas, and Massachusetts, for first consideration
