Job Summary

An online education company is in need of a Remote Adjunct Social Studies and Language Arts School Teacher.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Supporting the instructional program with synchronous and asynchronous web conferencing sessions
  • Completing all grading by providing prompt, high-quality, personalized feedback on assignments
  • Communicating with students, and other teachers on a regular basis

Required Skills:

  • Highly qualified and certified to teach Social Studies AND Language Arts (grades 4-9)
  • Valid state teaching certificate in Ohio
  • Must have completed traditional teacher preparation program
  • Ability to obtain certification in other states as requested
  • Ability to work some occasional evening hours, as needed, to support some families
  • Understanding of IEP/504 plans
