Job Summary
A private, non-profit Christian university is filling a position for a Remote Aeronautics Adjunct Professor.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Teaching material from approved curriculum in accordance with assigned schedule
- Providing detailed feedback
- Mentoring/challenging students to grow intellectually and spiritually
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Conferred Doctorate or similar terminal degree from an institution accredited by an accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education in: Aviation, Aeronautics, Aviation Safety, Aviation Administration, Human Factors, Airport Management, Flight Training, Aviation Law, Professional Pilot, Undergraduate Instruction
- Conferred Master’s degree from an institution accredited by an accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education in: Aviation Safety, Aviation Administration, Human Factors, Airport Management, Flight Training, Aviation Law, Professional Pilot or A master’s degree from an institution accredited by an accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education, with a minimum of 18 credit hours in one of the disciplines noted and at least 5 years of significant and relevant professional experience
- Demonstrated strengths in teaching at the college level
- 10 years of significant and relevant preofessional experience
