Job Summary
An insurance company is seeking a Remote AFS Reinsurance Accounting Consultant.
Must be able to:
- Coordinate the research, analysis and implementation of new and/or revised accounting policies
- Advise management of the accuracy of all reports, forms and data
- Act as project lead in development and design of new and enhanced systems
Qualifications for this position include:
- Six or more years of related accounting experience
- GAAP and/or STAT knowledge and functional business area regulatory requirements
- Knowledge of industry standard methodologies in sophisticated financial statement preparation
