Job Summary
A healthcare provider has a current position open for a Remote After Hours Behavioral Health Care Manager.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Performing quality clinical reviews
- Providing telephone triage, crisis intervention and emergency authorizations
- Monitoring inpatient and/or outpatient level of care services
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Candidates must hold an independent-level Social Work or Behavioral Health license
- Licensure is required for this position
- Minimum 2 years experience post degree in healthcare, behavioral health, psychiatric and/or substance abuse health care setting
- Knowledge of utilization management procedures, mental health and substance abuse community resources and providers
- Knowledge of DSM V or most current diagnostic edition
