Job Summary

A pharmaceutical company is seeking a Remote Aggregate Safety Assessment Director in Northbrook.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Providing scientific leadership, execution & oversight of worldwide ASA activities & contributing to development of excellence
  • Contributing to implementation of GPV 3-5 year strategic plan with focus on short- & long-term enhancement of Aggregate Safety Assessment
  • Being responsible for effective and regular communication between GPV partners

Qualifications Include:

  • A postgraduate Science or Medical degree ( PhD, MS, Pharm.D, MD). Additional degree in public health concentration is desirable
  • 5-10 years pharmaceutical/health related industry experience
  • 4 years pharmacovigilance experience, including advanced pharmacovigilance functions through development & post-authorization
  • Significant working knowledge of pharmacovigilance regulations & guidelines, including FDA, ICH, EU, and PMDA regulations
  • Able to work effectively and influence across cultures and functions
