Job Summary
A rideshare company has an open position for a Remote Algorithms Optimization Data Science Intern.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Performing exploratory data analysis to gain a deeper understanding of the problem
- Constructing and fitting statistical or optimization models to improve key metrics for the underlying system
- Writing production modeling code; collaborate with software engineers to implement algorithms in production
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Currently pursuing a Masters or PhD degree in mathematical sciences; or a related field
- Experience coding in Python or R, SQL
- Experimental design and analysis
- Expertise in optimization and mathematical modeling
