Job Summary
A cross-sector alliance of nonprofit, community organizations, businesses and government organizations dedicated to improving the lives of young people needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Alliance Programming Vice President.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Designing the model through which the organization's members request, refine, and receive strategic support
- Identifying the organizations that will serve as “experts” in each strategy session
- Facilitating all strategy sessions
Skills and Requirements Include:
- 10+ years senior leadership in youth-supporting organizations working in education
- Substantial leadership experience in program design, implementation, and evaluation
- Substantial experience with capacity building, stratgegy development, and leadership development in the non-profit sector
- Proven ability to identify and develop strategic partnerships, collective action and/or building coalitions around issue areas
- Ability to lead & create high performing teams (including full-time and work with consultants)
- Adjusts quickly to changing priorities and conditions. Copes effectively with complexity and change
