Remote AMC 8 Tutor

Job Summary

To support students preparing for AMC 8 and AMC 10 mathematics competitions, the part-time Remote AMC 8 Tutor will deliver online one-on-one lessons focused on problem-solving, mathematical reasoning, and competition strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver online one-on-one math lessons focused on AMC 8 and AMC 10 competition preparation
• Guide students through competition-style problems and explain key concepts and strategies
• Provide timely feedback and targeted guidance to support student understanding and improvement

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above, preferably in Math, Economics, Finance, or related fields
• Experience in math competitions or relevant teaching/tutoring experience is highly preferred
• Strong math foundation with familiarity with competitions such as AMC, AIME, or MathCounts
• Availability to work during weekday evenings and weekends
• Bilingual proficiency in Mandarin is preferred
