Job Summary
To support the expansion of competition math programs, the part-time Remote AMC Math Tutor will deliver one-on-one online lessons focused on preparing students for AMC 8 and AMC 10 competitions, fostering their problem-solving abilities and mathematical reasoning.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver online one-on-one math lessons focused on AMC 8 and AMC 10 competition preparation
- Guide students through competition-style problems while explaining key concepts and strategies
- Provide timely feedback and targeted guidance to enhance student understanding and confidence
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or above, preferably in Math, Economics, Finance, or related fields
- Experience in math competitions or relevant teaching/tutoring experience is highly preferred
- Strong math foundation with familiarity in competitions such as AMC, AIME, or MathCounts
- Availability to work during weekday evenings and weekends
- Bilingual proficiency in Mandarin is preferred
