Job Summary
A sports media company is filling a position for a Remote Analytics and Data Analyst.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Executing routine optimizations to maximize return on investment and yield for both the company and its partners
- Executing ad hoc needs, such as developing new tooling or defining new processes as we scale
- Managing and analyzing various internal and external data sets, identifying performance trends and flagging anomalies in the data
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Strong command of statistics and other analytical tools
- Degree in a scientific or quantitative field, or proven proficiency in these areas
- Strong business intuition
- Strong technical ability in a data-focused programming language, such as R or Python
- Proficiency with version control software, such as Git
- Ability to solve unique or complex problems and explain your findings in a concise, actionable manner
