Job Summary
A software development firm is seeking a Remote Analytics Data Scientist .
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Work with our clients to understand their requirements, business questions and build models and data pipelines
- Develop innovative machine learning based solutions to business problems
- Improve data science standards and processes
Position Requirements Include:
- 2+ years of experience in data science or data analyst role, with a focus on data analysis or machine learning research
- Knowledge of Python (pandas, scikit-learn) and comfort with notebook development environment (we use AWS Sagemaker)
- Demonstated good command of written and spoken English
- Ability to explain complex statistical models in basic language
- Ability to work with engineers and product managers to improve our platform
