Job Summary

A group communications company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Analytics Engineer.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Owning the data stack fully from collection to analysis to presentation
  • Using data-driven insights to improve user engagement and user growth
  • Helping answer important business questions by collaborating closely with the Product, Engineering and Marketing teams

Required Skills:

  • At least 1 year experience in a data engineer or analyst role at a high-growth or early stage startup
  • Expert SQL skills
  • Familiarity with modern data pipeline tools such as BigQuery, Snowflake, metabase, dbt or similar alternatives
  • Reside in USA/Canada: we are a distributed company that likes to minimize the time zone spread within the team
  • Autonomous and able to effectively prioritize initiatives that deliver the most impact
  • Communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing
