Job Summary

Providing effective telephonic interpreting, the Remote Anauk Interpreter will handle inbound calls on demand, facilitating language communication for the Limited English Proficient community while working as an independent contractor in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Provide effective telephonic remote interpreting services
• Answer inbound calls promptly and deliver superior customer service
• Adhere to the Code of Professional Conduct and maintain confidentiality

Required qualifications

• Full fluency in both English and Anauk
• Proficiency with web-based platforms, email, and Microsoft Word
• A quiet, secure interpreting space free from outside noise
• 1+ years of professional interpreting experience preferred
• Industry-specific certifications or training preferred (e.g., CMI, CCHI)
