Job Summary
An apparel company is seeking a Remote Android Software Engineer.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Directly influence the technical direction of the MapMyRun Android application
- Continuously ensure the health of the platform exceeds our customer’s expectations
- Empower and coach others on and outside the team to perform at their best
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Strong problem solving skills and experience coaching and mentoring junior developers
- Experience in building, testing, releasing, and maintaining Android applications in Java and Kotlin
- Advocate of clean code and TDD
- Experience setting up and maintaining CI infrastructure with the goal of continuously delivering value
- Familiarity with Agile practices
- 2+ years of Android development experience
