Remote Anesthesia Medical Coder III

Job Summary

An educational institution is seeking a Remote Anesthesia Medical Coder III.

Core Responsibilities Include:

• Performing complex coding of Anesthesia for inpatient and outpatient reports
• Accurately interpreting handwritten notes when necessary
• Retrieving all pertinent charging information through various IT systems including EPIC

Qualifications Include:

• Applications must be received by 6/21/2019
• Ability to work various hours and locations based on business needs
• Certified Professional Coder (CPC)
• 3 years of comparable professional anesthesia surgery coding experience
• Strong skills in ASA, CPT, ICD-10, and HCPC coding applications
• Experience abstracting data from various reports
