Job Summary
A nonprofit media organization is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Animal Focused Managing Editor in Los Angeles.
Must be able to:
- Assign topics to writers, and write additional content as needed
- Edit articles for grammar, accuracy and style, using the Wordpress platform
- Create email newsletters featuring published content
Qualifications for this position include:
- Experience as an editor
- Proven track record of creating successful online content
- 4-year degree
- Knowledge of AP Style
- Understanding of the ethics of the animal rights movement
