A non-profit organization that fights for fair treatment for animals is seeking a Remote Animal Rights Public Relations Coordinator.

Core Responsibilities Include:

• Preparing and servicing news releases and generate media coverage for our campaigns
• Keeping informed about our work and media coverage
• Developing new pitch ideas and ways to revamp news releases and pitches

Position Requirements Include:

• Degree in a related field or equivalent experience working in a professional environment
• Minimum of two years of professional working experience in public relations or the media industry
• Thorough knowledge of animal rights issues and campaigns
• Ability to deal with a variety of people in a professional manner
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to take initiative and follow-through
