Job Summary
A nonprofit company is filling a position for a Remote Animal Welfare Field Organizer in Los Angeles.
Must be able to:
- Train, motivate, and retain volunteers to take on leadership roles
- Develop relationships with media and key stakeholders
- Build rapport with major and potential donors by organizing various fundraising events
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Ability to travel travel 1-2 times per quarter to volunteer events, trainings, and staff retreats
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to thrive with minimal direct supervision
- Ability to navigate issues related to diversity, equity, and inclusion
- Comfortable engaging in pressure campaigns, and identifies as vegan or vegetarian
- Ability to interact with all staff, volunteers, and others in a positive, professional and outgoing manner
- Ability and enthusiasm to effectively lead, motivate, empower, and engage various target audiences
