Job Summary
A custom apparel online retailer is filling a position for a Remote Commercial Contracts Associate General Counsel.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Drafting, editing, and negotiating the company's wide array of commercial contracts
- Assessing contracts to determine risk levels and advising on risk mitigation strategies
- Working on the enhancement, updating, and creation of company guidelines
Position Requirements Include:
- JD from an accredited law school and be admitted to practice in at least one state
- 6+ years of broad-based commercial contracting experience
- Ability to manage a high volume and wide array of commercial contracts from complex to routine
- Familiarity with a wide range of legal matters
- Superb written and oral communication skills, with clear and concise drafting skills
- The ability to communicate legal concepts or nuances in a non-legal way
