Job Summary
A healthcare managed care organization is in need of a Remote Appeals Coordinator in Philadelphia.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Researching and investigating member and/or provider appeals and grievance requests
- Scheduling participant/member for committee panel sends scheduling letter if needed
- Preparing case file
Qualifications for this position include:
- 1 to 3 years experience in appeals and grievances
- A minimum of two (2) years' work experience in a Managed Care environment
- Strong telephone soft skills
- Proficiency and knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office applications
