Job Summary
A cloud communications company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Application and Infrastructure Security Director.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Identifying the best strategies for embedding security principles into the product development lifecycle
- Developing bespoke security testing tools to cover platforms and protocols for which no commercial products exist
- Managing a large portfolio of security program deliverables, track and report on budgets, timelines, dependencies, and conflicts
Qualifications for this position include:
- Have led application, cloud, and/or enterprise infrastructure security teams working to deliver value quickly
- Experience building and scaling security teams and programs
- Have deployed third-party technologies where appropriate to solve a problem
- Excellent prioritization & planning skills & can motivate teams & leaders to focus on important issues
- Have experience identifying where people and processes will be more effective than bleeding edge tools
