Job Summary
A software development firm has a current position open for a Remote Application Security Director.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Fostering a culture of thoughtful, security-driven software engineering
- Providing architectural guidance for new products and existing systems
- Reviewing and/or writing security-sensitive code in hundreds of backend codebases, and multiple websites
Qualifications for this position include:
- Strong software engineering background
- Knowledge of contemporary information security frameworks
- Familiarity with common privacy regulations
- Proficiency working in a Unix environment from the command line
- Experience using Git or other distributed version control system
- Able to leap large codebases in a single bound
