Job Summary
An internet company is seeking a Remote Application Security Engineer.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Researching security vulnerability disclosures
- Hunting for security flaws in the software
- Developing custom software to test
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Strong understanding of network protocols
- Understanding of common vulnerabilities, detection and exploitation techniques
- Experience in developing core libraries and/or automation engines
- Demonstrably strong programming skills in at least one of C/C++, Python, Go, Rust and/or Ruby
- Experience applying security engineering practices
- Experience with secure networking best practices
