Job Summary

A global science-based company has a current position open for a Remote Applications Development Engineer in Cupertino.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Supporting development of new business through the generation of technical value proposals and multiplication tools
• Leading and directing Research and Technology product development projects on assigned applications
• Translating customer and application requirements into product specifications to recommend existing products

Skills and Requirements Include:

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline required; degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering strongly preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of Applications experience in a plastics and/or customer application-related discipline
• Commercial experience
• Demonstrated accomplishment in leading large development or operational projects
• Proven success in large and small cross-function team environment
• In-depth knowledge of competitive landscape in engineering thermoplastics
