Job Summary
A national not-for-profit organization has a current position open for a Remote Applied Research Data Scientist.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Helping to build Common App’s evolving data analytic and research function
- Working with internal staff and external researchers to collect, analyze, and model
- Working with staff to visualize data that will be used to inform initiatives that enhance the student experience
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Master’s degree in a quantitative discipline with three years relevant experience or
- Bachelor’s degree with five to seven years relevant experience
- Fluent in data manipulation and coding with SQL
- Experience with database architecture and ETL procedures
- Experience with data analytics and reporting, data mining, data visualization and working with and validating imperfect data
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative and diverse environment
